4.  Transportation to Vet or Groomers - You drive clients pet to an appointment
*Not as common because of time consumption and liability during transport.

5.  Grooming - Sitter bathes generally a dog with shampoo & towels provided by owner
*Not as common because if the dog needs special grooming the owner generally already
has a professional groomer doing it.                                                                                        For the purposes of this web site we are not discussing grooming business run out of your home because that involves a different industry, quite a bit more start up capital and you must adhere to strict zoning laws in your community.

6.  In-Home Boarding - Pet stays in Sitters home

7.  Doggie Daycare - Commercial storefront where pet owners bring their pets to an establishment not a sitters home.                                                                                      For the purposes of this web site we are only discussing the 'home-based" pet sitting business. This is a commercial venture which involves a great deal of start up capital and most importantly will involve strict zoning laws in your community.

8.  Overnight Service - Sitter stays in the home from the evening hours until the next morning for a 12 hours period.  Example 7:00p.m. until 7:00a.m. the next morning.
*Not as common but a good way to really increase your income, especially when you are first starting out.

9.  House Sitting - Sitter stays in the home the entire time, 24 hours.
*Not as commonly offered because you would need to charge at least $100.00 or more for it to be profitable because you cannot take on any other jobs.
