"This course was
excellent. Don't start a pet sitting business without it!
You'll learn everything you need to know without having to go
through the time and pain of making the mistakes yourself--learn
where to spend your advertising dollars, how to manage your time and
prevent burnout, how to set up your business license and manage your
self employment taxes. This course is a must. It'll save
you time and effort" Christie White, Seattle Washington, Cuddles

You MUST take this course if you are planning to develop your own
Pet Sitting business. When I first walked in the classroom, I
thought that it would be the easiest seminar I've ever attend but
boy was I mistaken. Not this it's a difficult business to
start-up but there are many details to consider that I didn't even
think about! What I love is that the instructor, Pamela
Begeal, has gone through the trials and tribulations of opening her
own business and she teaches you the ins and outs, rights and wrongs
of starting-up.
From getting licensed,
bonded, and insured, to opening a business account to promoting your
business-----all you need to learn and know is in her class. I
highly recommend you take this informative and well-taught
course. Pamela is a great mentor and instructor--there is much
to gain by taking this class! Loreli

The
instructor, Pamela Begeal is a wonderfully entertaining and
knowledgeable instructor; the course answered all my practical and
technical pet-sitting questions, plus it provided me with up-to-date
and useful information on some legal and ethical issues I hadn't
previously considered. I left the course feeling 100% confident
about having a future as a successful pet care professional. Meeting
nice people there was an added benefit! Mary Lee

I have read lots of books,
seen several videos, networked with other members of the local
associations and got on several other pet sitting related email
boards and gathered a wealth of information shared with me by
the instructor, Pamela Begeal and others I have met through
networking. I know belong to the local Association in
AZ. These were all things that I learned how to do
through the seminar at the Pet Sitting University and they have
helped my business become a success. Lynn

Attending the Pet Sitting University has taught me
how to be successful in the Pet Sitting Industry. Pamela, the
instructor has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the
field. After completing the first day of the two day seminar I
realized the money I have saved by not making the costly
mistakes new business owners make. Pamela
Begeal is an innovative and dynamic instructor with a vast
experience in the Pet Sitting Industry and advertising field
which has given her a wealth of knowledge. You will
never learn these things in a book
or video.The Pet
Sitting University is the best investment I have
made thus far. The instructor has saved me hours of
frustration and hundreds, if not thousands of dollars !!! In
addition she gave me support prior to and after
attending the Pet Sitting University. Talk
about a hands-on instructor who is willing to go the extra mile to
see her students succeed.Pamela covers it all,
from showing you amazing legitimate tax deductions, to the most cost
effective way to promote your business. You will learn the #1
reason most small businesses fail, and how to avoid this common
mistake. Learn where and when to spend your precious advertising
dollars. Michelle Holly, Covina, CA K9 and Kitty Care

What I found most valuable
in attending the Pet Sitting University is that I
learned about and was able to purchase for a very reasonable fee all
of the necessary legal documents, as well as the necessary forms for
record keeping to begin my business. I also benefited tremendously
from the part of the class in which the instructor, Pamela
Begeal, walked us through step by step the procedure for
obtaining a business license, fictitious name registration, becoming
bonded and gave us all sorts of good advice about advertising. She
showed us how to get a brochure and business card together
too. She showed us how to obtain all of the
essential items in order to begin our own businesses. In
addition to being highly informative, it was a fun class too because
there was no shortage of humor thanks to Pamela the
instructor. Kare Strong, San Diego, CA Point Loma In-Home Cat

I
would highly recommend to anyone who is considering starting a pet
business to take this class. More than 1 big reason, there are
many little reasons. These included all of the little details
that I learned to get started and become
successful. This class helped me to save money,
time, and prevented me from making costly mistakes. Everything
needed to begin this business was given and the follow-up help
was a welcomed safety net. The class provided a step-by-step
procedure in how to do it along with the forms for contracts, cards,
and other advertising necessary to be successful. I couldn't
have done it alone. Thank you. Sally Lowe, San Diego,

I would like to state that the
Pet Sitting University was very beneficial in
giving me the confidence I needed to start a pet sitting
business. I learned a strong educational foundation around many
areas of pet sitting that before taking this course was completely
foreign to me.The most valuable piece of
education that has really helped me in realizing my dream
was how to get started. The small little details like, getting
a business license, getting bonded and insured, having a business
bank account and getting your business noticed. I would recommend this course to anyone who is seeking a
career that is focused on animal care. It made my life
easier in regards to opening up FurTheLoveOfYourPet and it will
make your life easier too. Maria Viegas, Point Loma,

I found the
Pet Sitting University to be informative,
inspirational, and fun! Upon completion of the course, I felt
very well prepared and excited to start my own pet sitting
business. Pam taught me every aspect of how to start my own
business, including: obtaining licensure and insurance; taxes;
advertising; and what to expect during my first year. Pam's
enthusiasm and compassion for the pet sitting industry really
showed. She continues to be an excellent resource and has
helped my business become a success!Lori

The most
valuable thing I learned at the Pet Sitting
University was the precise steps to take to get my business
up and running. I had never started my own business and was
completely ignorant about both the legal and the wise steps to take
to avoid my enterprise being still-born. I'm convinced that without
the instruction I received from the university my business would've
been dead and buried long ago. It's not just a helpful
education, it's a necessary
education.

The Pet Sitting University is imperative for
those of you who are seriously considering a career in this field.
Pamela Begeal's classes cover virtually all information necessary to
successfully launch your business and she does it with an incredible
sense of humor. You will leave with a definite confidence and
excitement for what you are about to accomplish. Leslie

I highly recommend that anyone who is considering starting a pet
sitting service take this seminar. Benefiting from the
instructor, Pamela Begeal's experience, knowledge and wisdom gave me
everything I needed to know to develop a foundation upon which to
begin building a successful pet sitting service. Step by step
she went over everything we needed toknow in order to be more aware
and begin the start-up process correctly. I still try to
review the class materials as frequently as I can in order to "Be
and Do" my best.
Already a service
oriented person from my previous employment in the U.S. Foreign
Service the instructor drilled into me that the service we provide
to our clients must and will always be the very best we can possible
provide. Thanks to the Pet Sitting University
graduates represent the best the that pet sitting has to
offer. I not only consider Pamela Begeal an instructor but a
colleague and trusted friend as well. Joan

My
husband and I attended a two day course at the Pet Sitting
University and learned so much wonderful information on how
to start our new endeavor. We also met other prospective
Pet Sitting Professionals and enjoyed our two days together.
Below are just a few of the informative items covered in our
class.
* Home office deductions and self employment
taxes/legal home business set up
* Services to offer and the appropriate
pricing
* How to handle a new client
consultation
* Maximum number of sits in a day and how to
avoid burnout
* How to advertise and promote your
business
We
really felt that this was time well spent and would recommend it to
anyone! We thank you Pamela for helping us get our new
business off and running! Susan & Brady Bottoms,

The Pet Sitting University is a
must for anyone entering into the pet sitting industry.
Valuable information is offered to you, and will head you down the
road to success. It certainly took the mystery out of putting
the business together and making it work. Why try to do it on
your own when you can learn how to quickly get your business up and
running. I am certainly glad I did!!!! Kathleen

After retiring from more
than 30 years of teaching high school in 7 different countries, we
discovered that we had to do something to keep busy. We learned
about the world of pet sitting when we realized we were going to
have to find someone to take care of our pet while we were away on
an overseas holiday.
Before
leaving on our trip in 2001, we decided to register for and complete
the course from the Pet Sitting University since we knew nothing
about beginning or running a business.
From the
course we learned that even though the start-up costs of a
professional pet sitting business were minimal, there were still
ways to save money and time by not making the usual mistakes that
many others had made in the past. We were taught how to complete all
the legal requirements necessary for operating a legitimate
business, how to make the most of our advertising dollars, how to
conduct a professional consultation and how to network with our
competitors so that we would be able to take time off without losing
our clients.
For us,
one of the most important concepts we learned was that there were
different niches for a pet sitting business. As we had been tied to
a very fixed schedule in our teaching careers, we decided that we
would only accept clients who would need our service on an irregular
basis. We did not want to be tied down with daily dog
walks!
We
have been in business now for three years. We have over 130 clients
and hundreds of pets who are always happy to see us arrive. We would
certainly recommend the Pet Sitting University for anyone who wants
to become part of the expanding and rewarding pet service
industry. Carol and Gary McElroy Animals R

I attended this seminar (back in 98) not
knowing what to expect. I was clueless about self employment
and all the documents needed, not to mention business license, name
registration, bond insurance, tax information etc. etc.
I learned so much that my brain went on a joyous overdrive and my
life changed since then. Not only is Pamela Begeal an immense
source of knowledge, but also extremely supportive through out
the years. Without attending her seminar I wouldn't*t have
made it in this field and to this day I rely on her as a friend,
mentor, teacher with invaluable knowledge and expertise in the Pet
Sitting Industry. Her true passion for teaching and the love of this
profession shows in her attitude and of how much she gives through
the years as a Professional Pet Sitter. Ingrid
